Care Instructions

Most of our products are hand-made and embroidered. All fabrics should be treated with care. Please follow the care instructions below.

Hand wash and air or flat dry are strongly advised for all items. Dry cleaning is optional. Gentle cycle can be used for fabrics that do not have embroidery or over-dyes.

The "patch work" skirts are colored with over-dyes. In order to avoid bleeding, follow the instructions below to set the dyes before wearing the skirt.

To set the dyes:

Fill a container with 4 - 5 gallons of cold water and add 1/2 - 1 cup of white vinegar. Allow the skirt to soak for at least one hour; for best results leave in overnight. Afterwords rinse with cold water. Please note: the colors may still bleed slightly when rinsing. After initially setting the dye, always hand wash the skirt separately and air or flat dry.
